CyberSoft Presentations

These are a collection of stock presentations that Peter Radatti created for his off-the-shelf use at computer security conferences. A substantial part of these presentations is verbal and is not contained in the slides. In general, Mr. Radatti takes a mix-and-match approach to the use of this material, customizing his presentation as appropriate. If you're seeking the slides from one of his presentations, you will need to look at all of these. Mr. Radatti appears about 15 times per year at security conferences across the United States.

Consideration of Targeted Hostile Software in Homeland Security (GOVSEC 2006)
This is the companion presentation to the white paper of the same name - view the corresponding white paper. This white paper is also available as a download - download this paper in PDF format (Requires Adobe Acrobat Reader - download Adobe Acrobat Reader here)

    Information Warfare
The Internet is too dangerous to use but too useful to ignore for business. Your company will be forced to use it. Don't let it be over your dead body!

    Security Audit Tools
Security Engineers are not normally System Analysts and have to rely on them for help. There is an inherent conflict of interest in this arrangement since anything the Security Engineer finds reflects poorly on the System Analyst and increases their work load. This presentation is a primer on how computer Security Engineers can obtain security audit tools from the CERT via ftp, install them without help, and run them.

Selecting and Using UNIX-TCP/IP Audit and Security Tools
Presents security issues involved with TCP/IP, sendmail, UNIX and the Internet in general. This is actually a collection of slides from other presentations glued together with new material. Includes some information on viruses and a hodge podge of other related material. A very good verbal presentation covering many issues from A to Z that are important to anyone about to attach to the Internet. May lose something as a static nonverbal presentation.
